Joe Yaba Ankoh
Bro. george's best buddy.
my dear brother and best friend, my life and that of my family will hardly be the same with your untimely death. for over twenty years today since we came to know ourselves we have virtually lived and shared our lives together. we worked together at sonara; you as an adorned and capable electrician and me a first generation pipeline welder. during those great days we were always together during launch breaks and after work. you were present when l got married and have always been there during the birth of all my children ;azah, anye, and cho. i was present when you got married and had your children, and you chosed me to godfather one of them and l have always been honoured and gracious for that.
through out these long years we have shared some very joyous moments and of course some tough times like when both of us lost our jobs and had to struggle to take care of our respective family responsibilities. during all these periods we still lived in true brotherhood. it is for all these that my wife grace, my children, my brothers and sisters and my old mother will all mourn your passing.
i will always remain thankful for you faithful friendship and l promise to always see through your surviving children the best that our friendship represented.
farewell my friend and dear brother
